Terms of Service

1. What KairoCast is — and is not

KairoCast provides statistical forecasts, analytics, educational content and AI-generated commentary about cryptocurrency and foreign-exchange markets and football matches, plus tools to practise trading, track bets and set personal limits.

KairoCast is not a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser, portfolio manager, bookmaker or gambling operator. We do not accept bets, execute bets, hold client money or custody assets. Where you connect your own exchange or broker account, orders are placed in that account, in your name, under your instructions and limits.

2. No advice and no guarantee

Every forecast, signal, probability, pick, backtest and AI answer is a statistical estimate that can be wrong. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax, legal or betting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold or wager. Past accuracy, backtests and track records do not guarantee future results. You alone decide what to do and you are responsible for the outcome.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must not use the Service where trading, betting or the information we provide is unlawful for you. You are responsible for complying with the laws, taxes and reporting duties that apply to you.

4. Your account

You can use much of the Service without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at once about any unauthorised use. You can delete your account at any time from the app or at kairocast.com/delete-account.

5. Plans, payments and renewals

Some features require a paid plan (Pro or Elite) or AI credits. Prices, what each plan includes and the daily allowances are shown on the Plans page before you pay; taxes may apply.

Card subscriptions (Stripe) renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings → Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. M-Pesa and mobile-money plans (Paystack) are prepaid passes that do not renew. Purchases in the Android app through Google Play follow Google Play's billing terms.

AI credit packs are added to your balance as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment (payments by bank transfer are added after we check them). Credits are consumed only after a daily allowance runs out — a chat message or trade review uses 1 credit, a deep report 10 — and do not expire while your account exists. Referral credits are given when a person you invited makes their first purchase and may be withdrawn if the purchase is refunded or the programme is abused. Promotional codes and free trials may be withdrawn or limited at our discretion.

KairoCast Business plans are bought by an organisation for a number of seats. Card plans renew until cancelled; seats can be added or removed at any time (card plans are adjusted pro rata on the next invoice; extra seats on prepaid M-Pesa plans are paid pro rata for the rest of the period, and fewer seats apply from the next period). Members join with the organisation's invite link, and their seat ends when they leave, are removed, or the organisation's plan ends. Organisations can also be invoiced by agreement.

We may change prices or plan contents for future billing periods; we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the change applies. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Connected exchange and broker accounts

If you connect an exchange or broker API key, you authorise KairoCast to read your balances and place orders on your behalf within the risk settings you choose. Keys that can withdraw funds are refused. Keys are verified, encrypted and returned to your device; we do not store them in our database, unless you turn on server auto-trading. You can disconnect at any time, and you should also revoke the key on the exchange.

Server auto-trading (optional, Elite): if you turn it on, your encrypted trade-only key is kept on our servers and KairoCast checks for setups every 5 minutes and places, manages and closes orders on your account within your limits, without asking you each time, until you pause or disconnect it. It stops opening trades during a Guardian cool-off or self-exclusion and at your daily loss limit, and switches itself off at your drawdown limit. Disconnecting deletes the stored key; positions already open keep their exchange-held stop-loss.

Trading involves a substantial risk of loss. Orders can be filled at worse prices than expected, markets can gap through stop-losses, exchanges and brokers can fail, suspend trading or change their rules, and software can fail. KairoCast is not responsible for losses, missed trades, slippage, outages or the acts of exchanges, brokers or other third parties. Read the Risk Disclosure before trading real money.

7. AI features

Kairo AI answers are generated by large language models from third-party providers and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on them without independent checking. Do not submit personal data of other people or confidential information you are not allowed to share.

8. Acceptable use

You must not: copy, scrape, resell, redistribute or publicly broadcast the forecasts or data except as the Service allows (a KairoCast Business plan allows it, see section 9); access the Service by automated means other than our published interfaces; attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass its security, limits or payments; use it for fraud, market manipulation, money laundering or any unlawful purpose; or impersonate others. We may suspend or end access for breaches.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, models, forecasts, designs and content belong to KairoCast or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own purposes while you comply with these terms.

KairoCast Business: while an organisation's plan is active, it may show KairoCast forecasts and predictions to its members and audience through its branded app, the API and webhooks, within its daily API limit. It must credit KairoCast (unless its plan removes the credit), keep the probability and risk wording with what it shows, never present predictions as guaranteed wins, keep API keys and webhook secrets confidential, and make sure its members' use follows these terms. We may suspend a key or an organisation that abuses the Service. Other redistribution needs our written agreement.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for market data, football data, news, AI, hosting, sign-in and payments, and links to exchanges and other websites, some through partner links for which we may receive a commission. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and accurate but do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will always be current. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature during a period you have paid for, we will offer a fair pro-rata refund.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, and KairoCast will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, trading or betting losses, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including rights you have as a consumer.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the Service.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example 2, 6, 9, 12 and 13) survive the end of this agreement.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Before starting any formal dispute, contact us so we can try to resolve it within 30 days. Disputes that cannot be resolved this way will be decided by the courts of Kenya, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim there.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using it and cancel any subscription.
